Random Bla Bla Bla from the MojoMan...

Well, basically I have no idea what to write in this article. My latest activities (including movies and games) has successfully made me abandon this blog (and the other one also) for quite a time. So here I am, trying to jam anything that stuck in my brain into this keyboard. This is kind of difficult because mostly, my brain consists of nothing more but the images of KFC, and writing about KFC would be mainstream (I will discuss about anti-mainstream later)....

1. Captain Obvious is obvious...

Here's the first topic. Now, I believe that all of you have ever encountered a type of person who, have a habit of saying the plain-sight obvious (therefore unnecessary) things. For example : He saw a house on fire, then he came to the owner (which was in the state of the worst emotional condition) and said, "Why don't you call the fire-fighter?"

"Uhh.. maybe because I'm busy writing a facebook status?"

Get the point? Captain Obvious is basically that person. The annoying person who will say anything in his mind out loud and assumed that no-one has thought of that before, but actually everyone (from the first moment) obviously has. In the example case above, of course calling the fire-fighter was obviously the most important priority from every sane being (maybe after saving themselves), so no need of a passer-by who suggest that they should do it. Stating an obvious statement like that would just make some people angry...

Captain Obvious comes in many other examples. Like when your PC got hit by a virus, and a friend suggested to update the anti-virus. Or when someone says, "It's raining" to a group of people who have clearly noticed (because they are looking outside). It may be non-spoken, like activating the vehicle's turning signal when the road is obviously only heading that way (this is also a rare, non-annoying example). Or sounding the horn when the traffic light turns green.

The list goes on, and I forgot most of them, but you get my point. Now, from my experience, usually these type of people (Captain Obvious) are those who came from the under-average intelligence class. Oh yeah, while we're at it. Let's go the second topic...

2. I Discriminate, by intelligence level

I am (hopefully) not a racist guy. I see all people the same, no matter the nationality, skin color, race, or material wealth. However, I do discriminate people, by their brain. Yes, I may be an arrogant bastard, but don't we all? There must be some point in your life where you disrespect other people because of their stupidity...

Okay, so I categorize all the people I know (including YOU) by putting them into intelligence levels, kind of like : Ultra genius, smart, medium smart, Average Joe, medium stupid, duh-stoopid, and sub-human. Well, there may be "in-between" levels or "Levels-which-name-I-made-up". But you get the point.

Here is an example my Mojo Vision :

But here's one more thing. My judgement about intelligence levels may not be the same as other people, that is, there may be some people who others think that they are smart, but I think they are not, and some people who others may think that they are stupid, but I on the other hand, think that they are actually geniuses. This concept is a little bit abstract and pretty hard to explain. Actually it may take 20-pages just to explain my criteria of intelligence levels. Like for example, I judge by their choice of ride. Any guy who rides a CVT motorcycle, I consider them as idiots. Yes, you heard me....

Your scooter renders your awesomeness invalid

3. Anti Mainstream

After two months being unemployed, I finally get a job. This is a good job in a good company, the job which my college degree counts, and the job that provides a challenging and fun environment, also, this job is cool as hell. However there is one small thing which bothers me...

I hate trends, have and always will. I wear cargo pants because I hate jeans which everybody wears. I don't have a twitter account, nor blackberry. I don't play video games which everybody plays, and even if I do, I don't use the same tactics everybody uses. I listen to Iron Maiden and Deep Purple back when Incubus, Blink 182, and Linkin Park was trending. I don't even have a cellphone until 2008. There are many other examples of how I avoid the mainstream paths....

But my current company I'm working for highly depends on trends. The cellphone trends to be specific. THE EXACT TREND WHICH I AVOID SINCE HIGH SCHOOL. This forces me to violate my own principles, but again, who can make money by being anti-mainstream? Unless if you are super-genius....

Well, this is all for now. Hopefully I can get more ideas for articles rather than these stupid nonsense. Meanwhile, Joni Dropkick is still busy with his daily life...
